Services
Roads & Paths
We are able to construct haul roads on larger sites to enable access, then remove when required; infrastructure works on new build estates undertaken to spec provided by engineers including footpaths and access roads in asphalt using kerbs as required. We can also supply and lay “keycheck” paving (vehicle deterrent paving).
Groundworks & Plant & Equipment Hire

Drainage & Sewers
Drainage to bespoke depths and tested for optimum efficiency. Offering Catchpits and Manholes, Rainwater harvesting tanks, UPVC and clay drainage, Soakaways and Fire Service water holding tank.
Foundations
Chenery Contractors Limited has a variety of sized machinery with many attachments to enable foundations to be excavated at specific requirements as per engineers recommendations
Site Clearance & External Works
All site clearance and external works including: Scrub removal, Top Soil removal or relocation, Contaminated soil taken by licenced hauliers following correct waste disposal procedures and documentation.
Block Paving
We can provide block paving for hardstanding, driveways, pavements, patios, road surfacing, and also permeable paving – this allows rainwater to percolate rather than the risk of water runoff.
Piles, Piling Mats & Reinforced Ring Beams
Chenery Contractors Limited specialise in steel reinforced ring beams and we are able to provide piling mats and piling works working alongside our approved piling contractors. We can also provide a smart foot option if required, but each situation is tailored to your needs and with advice from structural engineers. These systems can overcome unusual ground conditions.
Block & Beam Floors
The block and beam system is a reinforced beam laid across or between walls. These beams are infilled with aircrete blocks and have the advantage of being a completely dry construction system. Once laid, the floor is strong and safe and can be used as a platform to continue the building project.
